Awarded to Greenoaks Mercedes-Benz

The Greenoaks Group with Mercedes-Benz outlets in Ascot, Maidenhead, Slough and Reading has put service into it’s servicing to win a prestigious award from the manufacturer.

The Group claimed the title of Service Team of the Year for its outstanding service in 2007 despite the finishing touches being made to a significant investment programme undertaken at all of its locations.

Angela Shepherd, Customer Services Director, Mercedes-Benz Cars, presented the award and said it was given to a team that not only showed great technical competency but also served the needs of their customers best.

“The service team has been a top performer for years – consistently raising their customer satisfaction scores despite having to operate during either major refurbishment or out of temporary premises,” she added. “The number of service jobs is up 50 per cent on the previous year and they have also increased their share of customers.

Andrew Greaves, Group After Sales Manager, paid tribute to his colleagues and praised them for their hard work in maintaining exceptional levels of service amidst the challenges of a multi-million-pound redevelopment programme.

“This is a tremendous achievement and testimony to staff in each of our four retail outlets who have worked hard during the construction programme to provide an unrivalled service without inconveniencing our customers,” he said.

“Over the past three years, we have also been implementing various systems and processes which, together with the opening of our newly designed workshops, are now paying dividends in terms of the customer experience and quality of work that we’re now able to offer.”

Whatever their requirement, customers can call upon the complete range of After Sales services at each of the Greenoaks sites including servicing, MoT, repairs and tyres. Customer orientated schemes such as collection and delivery, loan cars and while-you-wait servicing are also available to minimise customers’ inconvenience whilst they are without their car.

“In addition to our facilities, we’re constantly investing in our services and our people to deliver an unrivalled ownership experience to customers and ensure that they are looked after by technicians trained to the highest possible manufacturer standards,” added Andrew. “It’s this combination of outstanding customer service and highly qualified expertise that an increasing number of Mercedes-Benz owners are calling upon.”
