Mercedes-Benz S-Class has been named Best Luxury Car at the Auto Express new car honours 2008 for the third consecutive year.
Editor Chief David Johns said that to many people there is not a better limousine.
"Few cars have reigned over such competitive sectors with such complete authority as the Mercedes-Benz S-Class," he added.
"Beautifully engineered inside and out, it's one of those rare cars that is as good to drive as it is to be driven in."
Dermot Kelly, Managing Director of Mercedes-Benz, stated that the manufacturer is delighted the S-Class again has been recognised as the best luxury car in the sector. |

| | | Mercedes-Benz offers new safety course |
A new Mercedes-Benz initiative to help businesses' employees in their driving skills has been set up.
The move follows a claim by the company that 55,000 work-related car crashes could be avoided every year if drivers were sufficiently trained and the new Mercedes-Benz course look to improve workers' vehicle control and handling ability.
It also looks to enhance drivers' abilities to assess risks on the road and the Driving for Business Programme will be situated at the Handling Circuits and Wet Skid Circle at Mercedes-Benz World.
"Our cars are packed with standard safety technology, and our Mercedes-Benz World driving courses offer drivers skills that could be life-saving," commented Peter O’Halloran, Mercedes-Benz World managing director.
Mercedes-Benz World is located in Weybridge, Surrey and is a "brand experience centre".
Earlier this month, the Bournemouth Symphony Orchestra performed a version of Vivaldi’s Four Seasons to 300 guests at the Mercedes-Benz World. |
