When you run out of road, simply press the standard Off road switch, and all of the electronic systems on board are primed for off-road driving and extra traction. If one of the wheels loses grip, the ESP/4ETS® system divides the power amongst the other wheels.
For more serious adventures, the optional Off Road Pro Package includes a range of features to optimise traction and maximise torque. This package includes two-stage low range ratio gears, centre and rear differential locks, and if the COMAND system is ordered additional functionality includes an electronic compass, altimeter and steering angle schematic. |
