 | | Whatever the weather outside, take control of the climate inside with the automatic climate control system (standard on GL 320 CDI). With this system, individual temperatures can be set for both left and right hand side of the vehicle. However for enhanced control, the Luxury Automatic climate control system (standard on the GL 420 CDI and GL 500) includes additional sensors for sun, pollution and humidity, as well as an extra circulation zone in the rear. Passengers in the second row can separately control temperature, air volume and air distribution to both the left and right hand sides of the rear compartment.
The rear climate control option (shown above - only available with Luxury Automatic climate control) optimises air-conditioning in the second and third rows with additional vents placed in the roof lining and left-hand side of the load compartment. With the temperature controlled by either the driver or the second row passengers.
