It all starts with the well-designed driver’s area: the new dashboard ideally positions the audioscreen at the driver’s eye-level and can be covered to further minimise any distractions. The optional COMAND system includes an electrically retractable screen. The three-tube instrument cluster is situated in the driver’s immediate field of vision and provides information about key operating parameters.
For even further convenience and safety you can use the buttons on the multifunction steering wheel to control a variety of features whilst keeping both hands on the steering wheel, including any connected telephone functions. The ergonomic centre console dial also makes for easy operation of putting key functions at your fingertips.
A comfortable travelling environment comes courtesy of the two-zone automatic climate control which is fitted as standard in the new C-Class. As an option, you can specify the luxury three-zone automatic climate control which allows the temperature in the rear section of the passenger cabin to be set independently as well. |
