On the new S-Class, we’ve extended the range Perform-Safe covers with four new features: |
 | Night view assist (optional). Uses near-infrared light on the mainbeam headlamps, which is picked up by a special infrared camera linked to a display on the instrument cluster. | | Distronic Plus (optional). Sparing driver effort even in stop-and-go traffic, the range of Distronic Plus has been extended to cover a wider speed range. | | BAS Plus. A new generation of Brake Assist, which links with Distronic Plus. This not only evaluates the way you apply the brakes, but also takes account of objects around the vehicle as a trigger factor. | | Adaptive brake with HOLD function and hill start assist. Enhanced safety features such as brake drying and priming help to reduce stopping distances. |
