Mercedes-Benz North Yorkshire is biting back at the credit crunch by offering free MoTs for life to its customers.
The unprecedented offer is available to all local Mercedes-Benz owners even if they are not an existing customer of the Group’s York, Harrogate or Scarborough retailers. Annual MoT checks are required when a car reaches three years old – however drivers do not have to wait for their vehicle to reach the required age before registering for Mercedes-Benz North Yorkshire’s complimentary offer.
Group After Sales Manager Gordon Hunter said that the incentive was part of the company’s ongoing drive to reduce the cost of ownership for Mercedes-Benz drivers.
“As the current price of an MoT is £53.10, customers could save a considerable sum should they keep the vehicle for a number of years,” he explained.
“This offer demonstrates our commitment to providing outstanding value and exceptional service in everything that we do and to make the motoring costs of our customers as affordable as possible.”
Whilst undertaking MoTs, Mercedes-Benz North Yorkshire’s Official Workshop team will also conduct any required software updates to ensure cars are performing as reliably and economically as possible. A full vehicle health check and complimentary wash and vacuum will also be provided.
“Should any problems be identified during the MoT test then owners are under no obligation to have the work carried out by us,” added Gordon. “We can provide an instant quote which I’m confident customers will find to be extremely competitive.”
