UK's largest motor dealer, representing 150 dealerships in the UK, Germany and the US. Pendragon became a Public Limited Company when the vehicle division of Williams PLC was de-merged in 1989.
Historically, we specialised in the representation of luxury/prestige franchises, including marques such as BMW, Porsche, Ferrari, Jaguar and Mercedes Benz, operating 19 car dealerships in addition to a small contract hire business.
Since then we have expanded considerably, we have enhanced our portfolio which now includes the volume franchises Ford and Vauxhall and we're now the largest Vauxhall retailer in the UK.
We have established a solid platform from which to move the group forward.
Our investment in innovative technology enables us to run our business more effectively and efficiently. The acquisitions we have made serve to enrich the franchise portfolio whilst diversifying our business overseas.
Today our ethos concerns bigger relationships with fewer manufactures, concentrating on market areas with volume brands, and stand-alone dealerships with specialist marques.
The future will see us consolidating and growing our businesses and remaining in the forefront of our industry, which is experiencing rapid change.
