| | Wish upon a Star to auction off amazing model car |
A miniature Mercedes-Benz will go under the hammer next month to help raise money to send 90 sick and terminally ill children on a trip of a lifetime thanks to the generosity of Mercedes-Benz of Grimsby.
The Laceby dealership donated the vintage style 300SL children's pedal car to When You Wish Upon a Star to auction at it's annual ball next month.
It is hoped the unique Mercedes car, which comes complete with battery-powered headlights and indicators fitted, will help organisers raise much-needed cash.

Dealer Prinicipal, Nicholas Heywood said the car is suitable for a child up to the age of five years old.
"This is an absolutely gorgeous car and it has been stickered up with the charity's logo, making it unique."
The car will be auctioned off at the charity's annual ball, which is being held on Saturday, October 3.
