Only days after opening the doors of its revitalised site for business, the new-look Mercedes-Benz of Coventry has received a resounding thumbs-up from new and existing customers.
Revisions to the long established Wheler Road outlet were recently completed after a nine-month refurbishment programme. The extensive work has redeveloped the site to include landscaped grounds, a fresh showroom environment for both Mercedes-Benz and smart, improved customer parking, a brand new valet building and a larger Approved Used display area that is capable of showcasing up to 75 of the finest pre-owned Mercedes-Benz models.
Behind the scenes is equally impressive and the Mercedes-Benz of Coventry workshop now benefits from three additional workbays, allowing lead times to be cut to just 24 hours, as well as a specially designed paint booth that is used to rectify minor scuffs and scratches and carry out alloy wheel refurbishment.
However, as Paul Lacy, General Manager, explains, the improvements haven’t been restricted to Mercedes-Benz of Coventry’s premises.
“We’ve also introduced a number of new initiatives to help us deliver an even higher level of service to our customers, such as specialised new and used car sales teams, a dedicated showroom host to welcome visitors and an all-new key tagging system that allows us to pinpoint the whereabouts of any car at our site in 30 seconds, which is quite something when you have up to 400 vehicles on site at any one time!” said Paul.
“And although we have only just opened and many of the new systems are still in their infancy, customer feedback has been superb with many describing the improvements as ‘fantastic’ and ‘well worth the wait’.”
Paul continued: “Now we have such a facility we are committed to providing customers with a retail experience to match and I invite any of them who haven’t seen our new outlet to pop in for a coffee and a look around, I guarantee they won’t be disappointed!”
