Mercedes-Benz of Bristol is going on location to deliver outstanding customer care and promote its value for money servicing approach.
The Cribbs Causeway retailer has launched ‘Mercedes-Benz to you’ - a mobile health check scheme that sees a member of its service team visit people’s homes or offices to inspect their car’s vital features and ensure the vehicle is in optimum working order. The service is completely free-of-charge and motorists do not even have to be an existing Mercedes-Benz of Bristol customer to take advantage.
Appointments are arranged for ‘Mercedes-Benz to you’ advisor Oli Ashley to visit owners in a specially-equipped A-Class with the latest diagnostic technology onboard. Whilst Oli undertakes a series of visual checks on items such as the lights, brakes and fluid levels, the diagnostics machine confirms that all is well with the vehicle.
After 20 minutes, the customer is presented with a report highlighting the condition of their vehicle. If there are any problems, there is no obligation for any remedial work to be undertaken at Mercedes-Benz of Bristol – however Oli can arrange for a quote to be provided or book the car in to be repaired if necessary.
Gary Tomkinson, Mercedes-Benz of Bristol’s After Sales Manager, said that the service was the first of its kind in the South West.
