Agnew Group – Leaders in Motor Retailing
The late Isaac Agnew founded the Group in 1931 in Belfast. Since his death in 1979, the present Chairman, David Agnew, who joined the organisation in 1972, has managed the Group. Until 1969 the Group was mostly based on the Falls Road, but with the advent of the 'troubles' the business was partly displaced to other parts of the city of Belfast.

For many years the Group has been the major supplier of prestige franchises in Northern Ireland and it has grown from humble beginnings to annual sales levels approaching £200 million with a total staff of just under 600. It is one of Northern Ireland’s largest companies and most significant employers.

This growth has been achieved by a combination of careful financial management and a commitment to quality. The Group has always reinvested its profits back into the business and as a result its dealerships are among the finest in the United Kingdom. The Group sees its role as adding value to the physical products, which it sells. It is totally committed to caring for its customers and fully satisfying their motoring needs.
